From Om to Sherlock: If Your Favourite Characters Were Games

We were rewatching our favourites recently and something just clicked.

Our games are literally characters. We don't know how we didn't see it sooner.

Tamasha is Om from Om Shanti Om. A Bollywood card game that is dramatic, chaotic, and completely over the top in the best way possible. The kind of game that walks into a room and the whole vibe shifts. "Picture abhi baaki hai mere dost." Always.

Dead Man's Deck is The Professor from Money Heist and Harvey Specter from Suits having a silent stare off. A strategy card game where every move is calculated and nothing is accidental. By the time you think you have read them, you have already been played. El Plan never fails.

Buzzed is Kabir Singh and that one uncle at every family party who shows up and suddenly everyone is having too much fun. A drinking card game with zero logic and full commitment. Has a tattoo? Drink. Ugly cried this week? Drink more. No rules except more.

Head Says is Maya from Sarabhai vs Sarabhai. A fast paced word game that is competitive, particular, and designed to get into your head right when you need to focus. "Monisha, how middle class." She would say the same to anyone who loses.

Mehfil is Geet from Jab We Met. A Bollywood music card game for people who know every song, sing all of them at full volume, and are never once embarrassed about it. "Main apni favourite hoon" and so is this game.

She Dare Mayhem is Veronica from Cocktail. A bachelorette dare card game with zero soft options. Starts fun and ends with stories nobody is putting on their main Instagram.

Bloody Inheritance is Sherlock Holmes. A murder mystery board game where one crime is committed and everyone at the table is a suspect. Already figured it out. Just waiting for everyone else to catch up. "When you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains must be the truth."

Every iconic character finally has a game that matches their energy.
